Welcome to Gridless Energy. By using our website (www.gridlessenergy.com.au), you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
1. About Us
Gridless Energy is a trading name of Leighton and Welsh Industries Pty Ltd (ACN: 682 431 394, ABN: 27 682 431 394), an Australian company supplying lithium and sodium-ion batteries for caravans, boats, and residential energy storage.
2. Use of This Site
• All users may browse and make purchases as guests. Account registration is not currently required.
• By placing an order, you confirm you are over 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
3. Products
We sell lithium and sodium-ion batteries. While comprehensive technical data is provided, it is your responsibility to ensure product suitability and correct installation. We do not offer installation services and accept no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation.
4. Pricing and Payments
• All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• Payment methods accepted include credit card (via Shopify), Shopify Payments, and bank transfer via Xero invoices.
• Pre-orders or deposits may be accepted by prior written agreement.
5. Order Cancellation
Cancellations may incur fees and are accepted at the discretion of the directors. Contact us as early as possible to discuss.
6. Shipping and Delivery
• We ship Australia-wide using the most cost-effective courier at the time of dispatch.
• Delivery costs are calculated at checkout or quoted manually for invoice-based orders.
• Large orders may be eligible for organised freight forwarding or local pickup.
• Risk of damage or loss transfers to you upon dispatch. We do not insure parcels by default.
7. Returns and Refunds
• We do not offer change-of-mind returns.
• Faulty products may be returned for a full refund or replacement.
• You are responsible for return shipping, but we will reimburse this if the product is confirmed faulty upon inspection.
8. Warranty
All products carry a 3-year warranty, backed and managed by Gridless Energy. Products undergo comprehensive functional testing to UL, IEC 62619, CEC, PSE, BIS, and KC international standards. Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modifications.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for:
• Any loss or damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or unauthorised alterations;
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including system downtime or lost savings;
• Power system performance or compatibility with third-party components.
10. Intellectual Property
All site content, trademarks, and branding are the property of Gridless Energy or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
11. Privacy
We collect and store customer data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes order details, contact information, and browsing behaviour (if analytics tools are used in the future).
12. Cookies & Tracking
We currently do not use cookies or third-party tracking tools, but may implement services like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel in the future. This will be disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
